The OptimJ language and development environment is provided as an Eclipse plugin.

Solver links are available for the following optimization or constraint programming engines:

• ILOG CPLEX
• glpk
• Gurobi
• LP/MPS file formats
• lp_solve
• Mosek

Licensing scheme

OptimJ is licensed per developer seat, as a programming tool: you need a license if you compile OptimJ code, no license is required for deploiement.

No matter how many projects your developers are working on, no matter how many customer sites are using your code, you will need only one license per developer. Your investment in the OptimJ develoment environment rapidly pays off over the course of a few projects.

• Eclipse version 3.4.x (Ganymede), 3.3.x (Europa) or 3.2.x
• One of the supported solvers (commercial solvers may require deploiment licences, check with the vendor)
