Ateji's goal is to make parallel programming simple as intuitive accessible to all applications developers. We developed and launched Ateji PX for Java, a set of parallel extensions for Java that allow developers to easily boost their applications by parallelizing them on multicore platforms and very soon on GPU & Grid. Ateji PX is already used in major institutions relying on high performance Java applications and was recently selected as Disruptive Technology at SC10 New Orleans.

After a PhD in computer science at INRIA, Patrick pursued an academic carrier as a researcher at Kyoto University. He moved towards industry, first by managing R&D projects for the japanese department of technology (MITI), then as a software architect at Ilog, a major french software vendor (Now an IBM company). Patrick is an expert in both language engineering and computation models for parallel programming. He founded Ateji in 2005 with the goal to make innovative language technologies available to the community.He provides strategic direction as well as operational and technical leadership at Ateji. Prior to joining Ateji, Max held various management positions in marketing, sales and strategic alliances at large international corporations such as Texas Instruments Europe, Infineon Technologies Germany and Samsung Electronics in South Korea. He later established the business of US start up in Europe. At Ateji. Max leads the sales and marketing activity, and build strategic partnerships. Max is passionate about the high tech world. He loves discovering new cultures, learning new languages, and traveling around the world. Max holds an MSc degree in Engineering from ISEN and an MBA from INSEAD.![]() Philippe Coucaud, Director of Engineering
Prior to joining Ateji Philippe spent 12 years working in the software engineering domain for different companies, ranging from start-ups to large corporations, in France, Germany and the Netherlands. In these positions he developed compilers and performance analysis tools for safety critical system (avionics) and embedded processors (TriMedia VLIW media processor). At Ateji, Philippe is responsible for software architecture and best practices. Philippe holds an MSc degree in Engineering from ESIAL.Support
